APGA
The leadership of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Kogi State chapter, has debunked passing a Vote of no Confidence on the party state executive, as well as suspending its chairman, describing those behind the reports as impostors, not party members.
Speaking with The Guardian in Lokoja, yesterday, Kogi State Secretary of the party, Ben Nweke, said it is important to refute the claim, as there was no congress held because state congresses are held following the directive of the national secretariat.
“There was no iota of truth in their claims. They are going about swindling people; the public should disregard them, as they cannot be speaking for APGA."
According to Nweke, the State Chairman of APGA remains Abdullazeez Arikora, while he remains the secretary. The acting Chairman, Abdulazeez M. Arikora brandishing his letter of introduction addressed to the electoral Commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Kogi State, duly signed by the National Secretary of the party, Labaran Maku, indicated that there is no better evidence than the letter.
He maintained that when he read the publication, he was taken aback, because the National Secretariat must authorise whatever the state party does.
