Nigeria’s Flamingoes will take on a rampant Cameroon in February for a place in next year’s U17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay.

The hurriedly-assembled Flamingoes scraped to the final playoffs after they beat Ethiopia on the away goals rule following a goalless draw in Benin City on Saturday.

The first leg in Addis Ababa finished 1-1.

Cameroon, on the other hand, fired a serious warning to the Flamingoes after they massacred Algeria 11-0 on aggregate.

The Cameroonians won 4-0 in Algeria, before they completed the thrashing 7-0 in Yaounde on Saturday.

Nigeria will host the first leg of the final playoff on February 2 with the return leg in Cameroon a fortnight later.

Ghana and South Africa are also in the reckoning for places in Uruguay 2018.
