A group under the aegis of South/South Wing of ex-Agitators, SSWA, has described former Vice President Abubakar Atiku as the messiah to rescue Nigeria from economic hardship and bad governance.
Self-styled Commander Paul Agge, coordinator of the ex-agitators from the core Niger Delta states, who spoke to journalists shortly after its inaugural meeting in Warri, Delta State, said that at this time when the country was at crossroads, Atiku is the only politician with pedigree to rescue the country from doom.

According to him, “Atiku’s antecedents when he was in the Customs and as Vice President, speak volume.” He noted that Atiku was a detribalised Nigerian that will be comfortable to work with any experienced citizen devoid of tribe in achieving national goals if elected.
While counting the reasons Atiku should be supported, Agge said, “The ex-Vice President strongly believes in the diversity of Nigeria and he is of the view that if the country was restructured, the incessant clamour for agitation to rights and complains over Federal Government’s neglect would be a thing of the past.”
He thanked the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, for preparing smooth landing for Atiku’s return, calling on the youths, women and elderly from the South/South to support the 2019 presidential ambition of the former vice president.
